Patricia is the founder and director of the Barcelona Festival of Song, a distinguished 10-day summer program for classical singers, collaborative pianists, and musicologists focused on the history and interpretation of the Latin American and Iberian art song repertoire. Celebrating its 21st edition in 2025, the festival has become the premier destination for those seeking to study and perform this unique repertoire.

Central to the BFOS is the Course on the History and Interpretation of Latin American and Spanish Vocal Repertoire, which studies art song repertoire in Spanish, Portuguese, and Catalan. The festival has achieved significant academic recognition, attracting participants from some of the world’s most prestigious institutions.

Each year, the festival features eight concerts with renowned specialists in the genre and commissions new song cycles from leading composers and poets from Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula. This innovative combination of education and performance positions the BFOS as a pivotal platform for preserving, advancing and promoting Latin American and Iberian art song worldwide.
